If we have asked you to check for JavaScript errors associated with AdBlock or Microsoft Edge as part of troubleshooting an issue, here's how to do it

Check for errors in AdBlock

  1. Open the page where the problem is happening.
  2. Open a new tab and visit about:flags to open Edge's developer settings.
  3. Select Enable extension developer features.
  4. Click the More (...) menu and select Extensions.
  5. Point to AdBlock and click the gear icon.
  6. Click the Background page link to open a new "developer mode" window for AdBlock.
  7. Click the Console tab at the top of the new window.
  8. Reload the page where the problem is happening. (You might need to drag the developer window out of the way.)
  9. If there are any error messages in the console window (usually in red text), paste them in a reply to our message.

Check for errors in Microsoft Edge

  1. Right-click the page where the problem is happening and select Inspect Element. The Edge Developer Tools panel opens beside or below the page.
  2. Select the Console tab at the top of the new window.
  3. Reload the page.
  4. If there are any error messages in the console tab (usually in red text), paste them into the same message.
