THIS ARTICLE IS OUT OF DATE. New filters have been suggested, but we haven't confirmed they work or that they don't break needed site functionality.

According to this post on the EasyList forum, if you're seeing ads on Opensubtitles.org, the following filters should get rid of them. (Updated December 7, 2016, with new filters)

  1. Click the AdBlock button and select Options, then click the CUSTOMIZE tab. 
  2. Click Edit to open the custom filters box. 
  3. Paste the filters below exactly as given. 
  4. Click Save
  5. Reload the page you're trying to view. 

Note: If you use Opera or Safari, replace "$generichide" with "$elemhide" in the filters below.
