The menu that appears when you click the AdBlock icon in your browser toolbar depends on what's happening when you open it. The browser you're using (and thus the version of AdBlock you have), the kind of web page you're on, whether you've enabled AdBlock's advanced mode, and whether you've clicked or right-clicked the AdBlock button all affect what appears in the menu.

The AdBlock menu is empty

If the AdBlock menu contains only a donation request or icons, it means something is preventing AdBlock from loading properly. Please see this article for suggestions.

What should the AdBlock menu look like?

When AdBlock is working properly, what page you're on when you click the AdBlock button and whether you have turned on AdBlock's advanced mode determine what you see on the menu.

Safari

Things get a little more complicated in Safari, which throws content blocking into the mix.

Note: The following examples apply to our legacy extension for Safari. Please see this article for information about the AdBlock Mac app.
